Karen
Torkelson Solgard will bring you into the cultural experience
of
rural mountain music from Norway through Hardanger fiddle
tunes,
stories and songs. She will also share stories and music
from
growing up on a farm in midwestern Minnesota. Karen
graduated
from University of Minnesota and has taught the
Hardanger Fiddle at St. Olaf College as well as performing at many
Scandinavian festivals in the USA.
