NACC Midwest-Chicago October 2008 Membership Meeting

Program                Tradition and Innovation in Contemporary Textiles

                             Speakers: Vivian Morrison and David Johnson 

                             This program include Swedish tradition and nature including wall 

                             pieces by each artist, a display of Morrison's jackets and runners

                             and Johnson's fiber jewelry and origami boxes. Morrison and 

                             Johnson attended North Park University and are accomplished 

                             musicians in addition to being weavers, and they will play duets

                             of Edward Grieg's "Norwegian Dance" and Swedish folk songs.
